YouTube finally gives us Shorts Thumbnails (and Shorts replies in comments)
Shorts creators on iOS can now select a specific frame to act as the thumbnail for their Shorts clip.
YouTube added this feature for Shorts creators on Android earlier in the year, and now iOS users can also customize their Shorts thumbnail display.
Going the opposite way, YouTube will also now enable creators on Android to reply to a comment with a Short.
More chaos at Twitter
The legacy blue checkmarks have finally been removed, only sticking around for those willing to fork over $8/month for Twitter Blue.
Now, even Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are just regular internet peasants like us.
But several celebs are still verified, despite not paying up. LeBron James, who had been vocal about refusing to pay a monthly subscription, still has his check mark because apparently Elon Musk is covering him. “I’m paying for a few personally,” Musk tweeted.
